ABSOLUT TABASCO X PIRO

5-8 MARCH

Absolut returns once again to CAN Art Fair with a collaboration designed to awaken all the senses. With the launch of ABSOLUT TABASCO, and through a collaboration with artist Andrés Sánchez-Ocaña (better known as Piro), the brand will transform its space at the fair through an intervention of color, matter, and texture.

Fabrics, knots, and layered surfaces alter the familiar form of the Absolut bar and its surrounding elements, creating a dreamlike bar that plays with materials and the artist’s touch, clearly echoing Lola, Absolut’s celebrated collaboration with the iconic photographer duo Pierre et Gilles in 1993.

The selection of colors and materials generates a sense of pressure and constant energy, close to the physical reaction that spiciness provokes in the body. Each element helps to build an atmosphere that is slightly unsettling yet magnetic—one that attracts, holds, and demands a more conscious relationship with the environment.

Absolut, a pioneer in supporting emerging artists for their ability to transgress and anticipate trends, renews this commitment by backing Piro’s creations to present ABSOLUT TABASCO through an intervention that turns a sensory idea into a concrete experience. An intense, physical… and spicy environment.

In addition, this year Absolut takes over the celebration of CAN Art Fair Madrid’s 10th anniversary at Lula Club, as Piro’s intervention extends to the photocall and DJ booth of the iconic Gran Vía venue.
