La Plataforma, founded in 2010, is an art gallery and creative production studio located in a former printing house in the industrial area of Poblenou. The gallery collaborates with both national and international artists, offering a space for the dissemination and promotion of contemporary art.
Since its inception, La Plataforma has focused on promoting the work of emerging and mid-career artists. The gallery has established itself as a creative meeting point, encouraging reflection and dialogue around contemporary art.
Since 2012, La Plataforma has played a key role in the creation of Poblenou Urban District, a private association that promotes the area as Barcelona’s Creative District, fostering collaboration between galleries, art studios, and cultural spaces, and consolidating Poblenou as a benchmark for the city’s creative scene.
