Galería Silvestre

Galería silvestre was founded in September 2014 with two venues, in Tarragona and Madrid, before expanding and relocating permanently to Madrid in 2017. Its programme is driven by a commitment to contemporary painting, while also embracing other disciplines such as sculpture, photography, drawing and installation. The gallery’s guiding principle is to support emerging artists whose practice and professional experience are already solidly grounded.

Since 2020, the project has included an artist residency space (Cellers/RsC). There, the gallery deepens its support for contemporary creation by offering a place for work, reflection and shared living. It is another way of opening up new positions in response to present and emerging realities. Everything unfolds without haste, privileging slowness and celebrating each situation with a sense of joy and of what can be held in common.
